what is wrong with young ones today? how could anyone not understand the wonder behind the film that is crouching tiger, hidden dragon. do you think just because it is a foreign, chinese-speaking film that it, therefore, lacks any semblance of quality? and i do not pride the picture because i am in fact chinese. it is an excellent film where something unique has been defined; there are too many of us who just miss it both ignorantly and willingly.
i fear we as teens are losing the ability to judge what we see on film and television by contemplating the underlying morals, intelligent humour, and true beauty. we’ve been locked in a world of funky beats and redundant melodrama for far too long. my apologies for frightening the dawson’s creek fans with the truth. but what am i talking about… i watch days of our lives. i guess everyone needs their healthy dose of cheese.
