seems like everyone and their facking dog wants to be a web designer nowadays… i do see some potentially good work out there among the ambitious. but honestly, does anyone else notice this trend of people jotting down “web design” in their list of specialties?

web design is a very taste-oriented area. some people have taste, and some need to be smacked violently with the reality bat. it’s like a concert band; one cannot say they play in the concert band when one doesn’t even know how to play an instrument.

now i know i’m not a renowned “web designer,” and i do not even attempt to sell myself as that. i’ve just noticed this strange fad throughout my time on the internet. i’m definitely not an expert when it comes to digital art, so don’t call me the queen of the harpies.
