what’s up with this massive trend of e/n sites? i absolutely abhor them. they’re boring and they should be renamed plainly n sites because they are literally about nothing. i’ll admit that i visit the rare one or two simply because of the witty writing and interesting news. but for the most part, they suck in the highest degree. what makes an e/n site, anyway? a couple of wannabe writers dispensing unintelligent opinions and lame cracks regarding daily news and occurences that would otherwise go unnoticed to the everyday internet surfer, bearing little to no significance to their lives? how about plugging this site and that site and noting on a regular basis that “today, i have nothing to post about. but i’m still going to ramble on for a few more hundred words about nothing at all until i say that i’m tired and that i’m going to bed.”
this website before you is not an e/n site; this is a personal nook on the internet where i can talk about my life and views. if you are using that to your defence, then — for the love of god — do not call your site e/n. please! i do not plug other sites (unless they are outstanding) and i do not scrounge for hits like a dog in wild heat. it’s as if the owners of these lame e/n sites are trying to be an interesting online magazine type when it is just not happening. i don’t care if these horrible, non-witty e/n writers bombard me with hatemail. there should be big yellow signs on the internet as in real life saying, “please make your e/n site actually enjoyable, or it will be towed into the online impound lot as a direct result of your lazy-ass drivel.”
