i saw the tour performance of les misérables tonight. it was amazing. never have i been to a live musical before, so this one was indeed special. after a while, you forget that these are live actors standing before you, singing their hearts out.

not that many people realize the literary work that spawned the reputable broadway musical. victor hugo spun a web of words with les misérables and i hope the others who see it not only gush over the love triangle among eponine, marius, and cosette, but also take time to consider the real themes behind the play.
