canucks beat the wild in OT!

vancouver is cup crazy. alan and i went for a bite to eat after the game and so many people were just out on the streets with canucks jerseys and flags, waving like mad-men and -women. we honked the car horn many times in a frenzy as we drove down the street and other cars did the same. it’s always nice to see the city unite for a common cause, even it it happens to be one that entails beating a weaker opponent to a bloody pulp in a hockey rink. but that’s just like the american system, except replace “hockey rink” with “iraq”. so it’s really nothing new.
