i know this is a bit late, but — vancouver managed to get the 2010 winter olympics over salzburg (!) and pyeongchang, which i suppose is a very fun and exciting thing if you live in metro vancouver. olympic hockey is coming home to canada and vancouver’s economy is going to be stimulated and it will put vancouver on the map, yadda, yadda, yadda… i’m just wondering where i’ll even be in seven years’ time. nonetheless, we vancouverites have a lot to be proud of.

in other vancouver news, a lady set a downtown building ablaze in fire early this morning after deciding to cook popcorn for breakfast.
