is it just my group of friends, or does someone always know someone who’s throwing a party at a club every week? it’s like friday rolls up and i hear “hey, everyone come down to [insert ridiculous club name here]! it’s my friend’s party.” i swear, i can’t go a week without hearing this. and do people really care that much about clubbing to go to so-and-so’s friend’s party every freaking week?

and what does it mean when someone says “my friend’s throwing a party”? does it mean that their friend is actively buying chips, pop, and party-favours for the guests? is it their birthday? because from what i’ve witnessed, all their friend does is just stand at the door looking like they just won the mr. or miss congeniality contest, letting their guest-list tag-alongs get in without waiting in line or paying a cover charge. and the losers that actually get through the door because they apparently “got da hook-up” ooh and ah like st. peter just granted them access to heaven or something.

i am baffled by the science of clubbing.
