i’ve up and gotten myself a domain. what in the heck.

well, since my last site was stuck on the same post for over a month and november didn’t really exist, and also mainly because of what i want to do with this site, i decided to invest in my own domain. so there you have it.

not everything is up yet, as you will soon figure out, save for the simpsons and music sections, which i got a bit of a start on.

something i’ve been wanting to have on my site for a while now but never had the time or energy to get around to making is a movie/dvd review section, otherwise known as film.adjacent.ca. i realize a lot of these types of movie/music review sites exists already (rachel and emma’s are great examples), but i really wanted a place separate from my journal to rant and rave strictly about films.

i doubt many people are going to discover this place any time soon, as i cannot even post my link or upload anything at my subdomain at implosive.nu as a result of the server problems. so, if you’ve made it here by fluke, that’s great!

addendum: my little corner on the web was named a “spotlight site” for december on bloghosts.com. highly influenced by rachel’s rave reviews, i got their bronze plan and haven’t looked back since. well, for the few days that this site has been up, at least, and i don’t think i’ll have to look back for a long while. and i’m suddenly realizing how ridiculous the expression “never look back” is, after using it twice in one paragraph.
