my house was just fumigated. are my eyes supposed to be burning?

i’ve been a complete flake at work, recently. there are a lot of things i need to be doing yet i’ve been slacking off more than usual. i work with a lot of high school kids and i think their lack of direction in life and urge to set things on fire is starting to rub off on me.

the summer is making me lazy. the weather in vancouver has been gosh-darn hot for the last couple of days. you know it’s way hotter than usual when you have to keep reapplying your antiperspirant like crazy (and also when you aren’t afraid to admit that you need to keep reapplying your antiperspirant like some crazy sweat-monster). i don’t understand how vancouver has this reputation of being a drab and rainy city. we get the best of all kinds of weather here. you want snow? you got it. you want a bit of showers? here you go. you want a nice, sunny day? soak it up. i still stand by my belief that vancouver kicks all other cities’ proverbial asses.
