Having majored in American history—despite everyone telling me I’d never do anything with my degree, besides become a history teacher or Assistant Manager at Blockbuster—I am excited by today’s US election. There’s either going to be the first African-American president or the first president with ten pounds of neck skin (beating out Ronald Reagan). It’s really a win-win situation for the history books.
